I also feel mixed about what is covered under our right to free speech, but I do feel as though this action by Congress was uncalled for. After reading much about the intention of the artist in choosing the image of Christ for his piece, I am forced to think that the removal of the video is even more out of line. The video, and much of Wojnarowicz's works, are about suffering. We see bloody images of Christ's suffering in places of worship and other public places to remind us of Jesus' time on earth as man.
